Town of Albion is currently taking bids for 2024 Mowing! This includes cemetery, Fire Dept and Library/Besse Building. All bids must be turned in by March 25, 2024 at 4pm. If there are any questions...

The Albion Clean Up Day is June 1, 2024 from 8am until 2pm. This will be held again at Lee Brothers Lot. They will NOT accept: Gasoline, propane tanks, oils, flammable or any hazardous waste

Albion is a rural community located on the Northeast side of Kennebec County in Central Maine. With a total area of 39.46 square miles (38.83 sq miles land, .63 sq miles water) Albion is home to just over 2,000 people in approximately 820 households.

Previously called Freetown, Fairfax and Lagonia
Incorporated March 9, 1804, the 151st Town

Name changed to Lagonia, March 10, 1821
