The Albion Public Library was founded in 1981 by Flora Wing Champlin, moved to Main Street in 2002, remodeled and expanded 2021.

Mondays 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m and Thursdays 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The Library collection contains over 11,650 volumes, 524 new titles,
with e-book access to 20,000 more books. We now have a large collection
of recorded books and DVDs. In 2022 we had over 1,466 patrons visit,
circulating more than 960 books,
We have programs for adults, the summer program for kids and the
Thursday evening “Knit Nites” to knit and chat. A monthly Quilting
Group, Albion Lions’ committees and the Historical Society and 4H also
enjoy access for meetings in year-round comfort.
