Transmission Line Committee

  • Our committee is committed to pushing back against the implementation of the proposed High Impact Transmission Line through the town of Albion.
  • We are committed to working regionally with other impacted towns to encourage LS Power to seek other alternatives which are well known. Additionally, we want to increase public awareness of the line and its potential impacts to: Health, Environment, Decrease in Land values, etc...
  • We are committed to working with the Town Selectman and Planning Board to put in place town ordinances that will help mitigate the environmental and social impacts of this High Impact Transmission line and other potential Utility corridors.
