Tax Collector & Treasurer

The Tax Collector collects payments in accordance with tax commitment issues by the Assessor. The Tax Collector also sends bills to inform property owners of the total taxes they owe and when those payments are due to the town. The Tax Collector also places liens on any property whose owner has not paid its taxes by the due date.

Real Estate taxes are committed in July and are due September 30th of each year and interest on any unpaid taxes will start accruing October 1st.

The fiscal year for the town is February 1st to January 31st.
