Code Enforcement, Licensed Plumbing Inspector & Health Officer
The Town’s code enforcement officer performs the following functions:
Reviews building plans and issues building permits.
Issues permits for indoor and outdoor plumbing projects and inspects the completed work to ensure it meets plumbing codes.
Investigates citizen complaints to ensure compliance with town ordinances, and initiates enforcement action (legal proceedings) when necessary.
Reviews permit applications for completeness prior to Planning Board meetings.
