The Area to be Paved Measures 5650 Ft Long, and Approximately 20 Feet Wide
This Would Consist of 2 Inch Thick, 12.5 Base and 19 mm Hot Mix Material
The Bidder Must Supply All the Needed Equipment and Materials to Perform the Job
Upon Winning the Bid, Proof of Insurance Must be Faxed or Emailed to the Town of Albion

NOTICE OF BID FOR SURPLUS VEHICLES
2002 Case Backhoe
The Town of Albion is accepting bids for a 2002 Case Backhoe 580 SM. This vehicle comes with two buckets and Wain-Roy Twist-a-Wrist.
The hour meter is broken and reads 5700. The unit, which is in running order, was recently taken out of service and replaced with a newer unit.
It will be sold As-Is, Where-Is by sealed bid. All bids must be received and marked as "Backhoe Bid" in a sealed envelope by August 22, 2022, at 4PM.
Bids will be opened and awarded at the Selectmen's Meeting at 6:30 PM that same day.
The Town reserves the right to reject all bids and re-advertise. Payments are due within five days of award. Bids are to be mailed or dropped off at the

The Town of Albion is accepting bids for a 1977 John Deere 670 Motor Grader.
The Grader has a John Deere 6414T six cylinder turbo diesel engine with 135 HP and is in running order.
It will be sold As-Is, Where Is by sealed bid. All bids must be received and marked "Grader Bid" in a sealed envelope by August 22, 2022 at 4PM
Bids will be read and awarded at the Selectmen's Meeting at 6:30 PM on the same day

COVID RELIEF CHECKS
In an effort to offset the current higher cost of living due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Governor Mills will be issuing the taxpayers of Maine $850 in the form of direct checks.
To be eligible to receive these checks, you must file a 2021 individual income tax return by October 31, 2022, as a full-time Maine resident.

The Town Office is open Monday - 10:00 to 4:00 pm; Tuesday - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; Thursday - 12:00 to 6:00 pm. NO new registrations will be processed 15 minutes before closing. This includes ATVs, boats and snowmobiles.

The municipality of Albion Administers a General Assistance program for the support of the poor. Pursuant to Title 22 MSRA 4305, the municipal officers have adopted an ordinance establishing that program. A copy of this ordinance and relevant statues is available for public inspection at the Town Office and/or during regular office hours.
Persons who wish to apply for General Assistance may do so by appointment at the Albion Town Office during the following times.
Monday 12:00 - 4:00 P.M.
Tuesday 9:00 - 4:00 P.M.
Thursday 12:00 - 6:00 P.M.
